    These are all beautiful paintings, in this case, size does not matter. I always do a value sketch before painting on site, but that takes time and light changes. I’m going out with pre-taped off paper, giving this idea a try. Thanks for passing this along.

      Value sketches are good but in my experience, many people can do great value sketches and completely fail once they use color. Thanks for your comment and visit!
