I had the pleasure of viewing one of your watercolors in the American Watercolor Society traveling show when it stopped in Van Wert, Ohio. I really like the Dellagana Ranch painting, above. Has something to do with that mist and sun that you are able to capture so well. I recall one a while back that was of a cow pasture. Beautiful paintings, all.
thank you for letting me know, Leslie! Glad you were able to see the AWS travel exhibit! The CA mist is really something that has fascinated me for a long time. It may sound strange but I feel I am just beginning to understand it — I do like Dellaganna Ranch as well, a place that is just five minutes from where I live, I have painted it many times!
I’ve seen your work in real life and can attest to the fact that it’s even more beautiful in person.
so nice of you, Carol!!
