I was fortunate to paint at the Gateway Canyons stable in Gateway, Co this weekend. They love painters coming to capture the horses. You should try to paint at this location if you are close by. Gorgeous redrock country.
Oh man, that’s fine. I really enjoy the way you captured the haziness of the light coming through the long depth of the valley, but also the intensity of it on the animals, barn, and equipment. The crunchy bits of light at the foot of the horses works really well too. Thank you so much for sharing your work this way–it is inspiring and encouraging.
